How to gather network diagnostics?

Answer

There is a large number of ways that ReportAway! can connect through wireless networks to FreshBooks. In some rare cases, ReportAway! may have problems contacting the FreshBooks service. In these cases the quickest way to resolve the issue is to gather network diagnostics from ReportAway's built in diagnostic feature and send them to support for analysis.

To gather network diagnostics please follow the procedure below.

  1. Escape out of the setup wizard.
  2. Goto the "Administration"screen.
  3. Press the menu key and select "Network Diagnostics".
  4. Click on the "Test FreshBooks Connectivity" button.
  5. Select and copy all of the log data at the bottom of the resulting screen and paste into an email to support@aciresystems.com .
