Why do I get a "Task is not assigned to the given project error"?

Answer

I've just saved a time entry and I get an error message popping up saying "Service Response Error:: Task is not assigned to the given project", as shown in the screen shot below.

The reason this happens is because the "task" setting in the time entry is not associated with the selected "project" setting. To resolve this issue, you can change the task setting in the time entry, or log into FreshBooks and assign the selected task to the selected project. Unfortunately there is no API available that allows ReportAway! to associate a task with a project.
