ReportAway!®

One of the most frequently requested features for ReportAway! is a Start / Stop time to avoid having to explicitly set times start and stop times in a timer entry.

With a Start/Stop timer, you simply tell ReportAway! to start timing an activity (i.e. like starting a stop watch) and when to stop the timer. It will record and fill in the details of the start and end times.

This feature is near the top of the ReportAway! roadmap list.

I have seen other apps that use start/stop timers ONLY and it makes the application completely useless. I know you do not intend to do that but most consultants I work with (me included) get out to the car or finish a project, pull out the berry and type in the time and just type in the hours we spent onsite. I would never use a start/stop timer. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input mtills. Start/Stop timers aren't the best way to capture time use for everyone, so while we are adding them to ReportAway! we will not be removing the existing methods for capturing time use.
