Another thing that would be helpful would be to sort the customer list pull down by name. Right now during time entry I click on the customer pull down and they are not sorted in any particular order. If they were sorted it would be easier to find them in a large list.

The lists are sorted, but they are not sorted in a way that matters to most people :S . In a fit of stupidity, I coded this up to sort by entry ID. Yours is the second user request to sort the lists and I agree completely this is needed. It will be in the next release of ReportAway! .

ReportAway! for FreshBooks sorts the client Org name or Contact Name. There is a configurable option for whether Clients are shown via Organization name or Contact Name. Moving this to standard ReportAway! is pending a port activity.

As of ReportAway! R1.4.0 all pull down lists are sorted alphabetically.

Related to this issue, it would be very helpful, when recording time or entering details for timers, if the projects and customers would be linked together. This could be done if, for example, you enter the customer name first, and then when looking for the project, only those projects linked to that customer show up in the pull down list. Right now, the overall project list shows which customers they are linked to, but when entering time or details on a timer, the projects show up alphabetically with no other information; you then have to go looking for the correct project name. We have many similarly or identically named projects for different customers, so this makes the entry process a bit tedious and potentially a problem for reporting the time if you choose the wrong one.
