What QuickBooks fields should be entered in ReportAway?

Answer

In general, the "name" field in QuickBooks should be used as the "Description" field in ReportAway!. It is important that they match exactly to avoid having multiple entries following an import.

 

ReportAway! does not support the QuickBooks Description field...yet.

 

Enter the QuickBooks customer name field as the ReportAway! description field for customer under "Administration->Customer List".

 

Enter the QuickBooks job name field as the ReportAway! project Description for the project under "Administration->Project List".

 

Enter the name of QuickBooks items that have a type "Service" as the Description for a ReportAway! Activity under "Administration->Activity List".
